Catering HQ Wholefoods – Gregory Hills NSW Catering HQ is seeking a talented and dedicated Pastry Chef to join our amazing kitchen team at Catering HQ Wholefoods production kitchen. THE BRAND Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 15 fabulous venues across Sydney and Melbourne. We believe in striving for excellence at all times and pride ourselves on having an experienced and dedicated team who love their work and their work environment. At Catering HQ we are always looking to adapt to evolving market trends for our restaurants, cafés and events. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, interesting and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high quality meals and exceptional customer service. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Must display excellent prep, baking and presentation skill Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends, techniques and the ability to contribute to menu planning Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes Ability to handle large service numbers providing desserts for all venues Exceptional knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS Excellent supportive and leadership skill set Confidence to put forward new ideas and humble enough to listen and learn Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed Immaculate presentation and grooming KEY QUALITIES At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position Be flexible with working hours - Shifts are 2pm until 10pm A team spirit, bright and positive demeanour WHY JOIN US Discounts from our suppliers such as Vittoria Coffee Internal and external training opportunities The team at Catering HQ work hard to create a safe and inclusive environment for all, and most importantly, we’re all about creating a more sociable future – for our customers and for each other.
