About the Role The Asset Protection Coordinator will lead the Asset Protection team for a 12‑month period and act as part of the broader Development Services Leadership team. The team processes Asset Protection Permits, Road Occupation permits (Plant & Equipment, Hoarding & Occupation, Out of Hours and Works Zone), and Road Opening permits (Vehicle Crossing, Stormwater Tapping, Road Opening). They also enforce clauses of the Neighbourhood Local Law 2021 relating to construction activities within the municipality. The coordinator will oversee service delivery, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, allocate incoming work, manage KPI reporting, and drive digital improvements to the team’s online platform. The role requires strong multi‑tasking, prioritisation, escalation handling, and effective communication with a broad range of customers and stakeholders.
