Chief Financial Officer Finance, Governance

You will partner with multiple stakeholders across the business, with responsibility for providing a commercial lens and analytical insight into making better, and more profitable, business decisions. You will also have oversight of the risk and legal department.Key responsibilities include:Financial strategy - Lead and manage all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.Strategic planning - Partner with the CEO and the executive leadership team to support and execute the company's strategic financial plan.
Financial reporting - Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and completion of the annual audit.
Fundraising - Lead fundraising efforts in partnership with the CEO & Founders (they expect to raise their Series B in late 2025).
M&A - Lead any M&A investigations and execution with advisors.
Risk management - Identify and mitigate financial risks. Lead the development and implementation of internal controls.
Operational efficiency - Provide insightful financial analysis and data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making across the organisation.In terms of what we are looking for, we seek a hands-on and results oriented CFO. This means being proactive, resourceful, and taking a long-term strategic view of how to achieve the company’s goals. You will possess an assertive and inquisitive personality and will own the budgeting and resourcing plan and can have critical conversations with department heads. As the head of the finance department, you should be able to build and lead a high-performing team. You come from investment banking or corporate advisory, and are adept at developing and executing financial strategies that align with the company’s growth goals. This includes managing cash flow, budgeting, fundraising, and optimising financial resources.
While CPA/CA designation is a plus, as is experience with a B2B SaaS company and exposure to a high growth environment, it is not mandatory.
