As a Litigation and Insolvency Lawyer, you will handle a diverse portfolio of matters, advising clients on insolvency proceedings, corporate restructurings, commercial disputes, and related litigation. Location: Brisbane, QLD A$150,000 p/a Key Responsibilities Advising clients on insolvency law, including voluntary administrations, liquidations, and debt recovery. Managing litigation in commercial and corporate disputes, from initial advice through to resolution in Queensland courts. Providing counsel on corporations law, commercial transactions, and securities enforcement, including Personal Property Securities Register (PPSR) compliance. Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing for hearings. Collaborating with senior partners and team members to develop strategic approaches for complex cases. Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure tailored, effective legal outcomes. Qualifications and Experience Admitted to practice as a solicitor in Queensland, with a current practising certificate. 3–5 years of post‑admission experience in corporations law, insolvency law, litigation, commercial law, and demonstrated knowledge of PPSR and securities. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven track record of client service. A proactive mindset, with enthusiasm for contributing to firm initiatives and professional development. Familiarity with the Victorian jurisdiction highly desirable.
