As part of this growth, we are seeking a motivated 1–4 year post admission Employment Lawyer or Associate to join our Brisbane-based Employment & Safety team. This full‑time role offers the opportunity to work closely with a principal on high profile and complex matters, with strong career development, hands‑on experience and competitive remuneration in a high‑performing team environment. About the Role In this role, you will be acting for employers from SMEs to ASX listed and global companies across a diverse range of industries. The team is regularly engaged in litigation, industrial action and advice. Defending Fair Work claims including unfair dismissal, general protections and sexual harassment disputes including regularly attending conciliations. Assisting with enterprise agreement approvals and industrial disputes. Drafting employment, industrial relations and safety advice for clients across a diverse range of industries. Advising on dispute resolution strategy for employment and IR disputes. Managing and defending claims under the Fair Work Act and anti‑discrimination legislation, including drafting applications, responses, witness statements and affidavits. Advising clients on safety incidents, regulatory investigations and enforcement action. About You 1–4 years post‑admission experience with demonstrated experience in employment and / or safety law. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and commercial acumen. The ability to work collaboratively in an open and supportive team environment. A proactive attitude and the confidence to manage competing deadlines in a face‑paced practice.
