Senior Pharmacist – Electronic Medicines Management South Metropolitan Health Service CRVCID This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 12 months, with the possibility of extension(s). Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783‑bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose‑built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine. SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth. Key Responsibilities The Electronic Medicines Management Pharmacist provides expert knowledge of electronic medicine management systems, including pharmacy software and pharmacy automation hardware. Aims to optimise patient safety and the provision of high‑quality pharmacy service by coordinating the implementation and maintenance of electronic medicine management systems. Practices as a Senior Pharmacist and ensures practice is in accordance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Pharmacy Board of Australia Codes and Guidelines including the Pharmacy Code of Conduct for Registered Health Practitioners and SMHS policies and guidelines.
