Senior Financial Accountant 5 month contract Our client is a dynamic, ASX-listed growth business experiencing a period of strong expansion and operational change. They are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a five-month contract. This role will support the delivery of statutory reporting, financial governance, and enhanced reporting processes during a key stage of business growth. About the role You’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the monthly reporting framework, ensuring accuracy across financial and tax compliance, and improving the quality of internal management reporting. The position offers a hands‑on opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a fast-moving and commercially focused environment. Key responsibilities Prepare financial statements and board reports, including ASX statutory reporting on a half-yearly basis Manage and refine dynamic cash flow budgeting within Excel Maintain and develop key financial metrics, with a particular focus on SaaS performance metrics Oversee indirect tax compliance, including transitioning activities from external providers Ensure strong accuracy and integrity across all processes Implement and manage Spotlight reporting for performance tracking and management insight Skills & experience CA or CPA qualified Proven experience as a Senior Financial Accountant or similar role within a listed or high-growth business environment Strong technical accounting skills, including statutory and ASX reporting experience Proficiency in Spotlight, with demonstrated capability in managing complex reporting structures Advanced Excel skills, including dynamic budgeting and forecasting models Experience with SaaS metrics highly regarded Strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
