Through our National Immigration Support Service (NISS), we provide compassionate, culturally safe, and trauma-informed support to asylum seekers and refugees living in the Australian community. We walk alongside individuals and families on their journey, helping them navigate what can be complex and challenging systems and empowering them to reach their goals, one step at a time. About the Role Attendance: Full Time, 38 hours per week. Office Location: Parramatta NSW, with flexibility to work from office and home. As a Case Coordinator, you will provide personalised and responsive case coordination services to clients. In this role you will; Conduct thorough assessments to determine client eligibility Work with clients to create and regularly update their personalised case plans, Assist clients with referrals to appropriate community supports and resources Ensure client safety by performing risk assessments, creating safety plans and accurate record keeping Build strong relationships with clients and their families, using strengths-based and culturally sensitive approaches Skills & Experience Relevant qualification in a Human Services related field and/or equivalent experience. Case coordination experience, including developing and implementing case plans that support clients' independent living and their ongoing eligibility for services. Ability to perform comprehensive assessments in areas such as finances, health, housing, social needs, vocational skills, and education. Experience managing clients with complex physical and mental health issues Working understanding of current casework practices for Culturally and linguistically diverse clients. Multilingual communication skills would be highly regarded Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and any relevant stated based checks.
