About Access Psych Access Psych provides qualified face‑to‑face and telehealth mental health support as part of the MedHealth group. Work in your local community with work‑from‑home options available. Position Overview Seeking candidates with experience in mental health or allied health clinic administration to cover Monday to Wednesday minimum. Role can be based at Melbourne VIC, Newcastle NSW or Sydney NSW area. Responsibilities Support national team of clinicians to deliver exceptional mental health support across Australia. Meet and greet clients attending the practice. Answer and make phone calls promptly and courteously to book, reschedule appointments and maintain waiting lists. Refer entry and allocation of service packs. Maintain client details and appointments in Zanda practice management system. Collect and manage client payments, process Medicare rebates and processing invoices for third‑party payments. Manage medical and business correspondence. Action clinician requests promptly. Complete record‑keeping tasks for the clinic. Other duties consistent with the position as required and/or requested by management. Qualifications Previous experience in mental health or allied health clinic administration highly desirable. Allied Health qualifications highly desirable for triage and risk assessment. Experience operating in fast‑paced, process‑driven businesses. Under direction of CSS Team Leader, manage day‑to‑day workflow allocation to ensure tasks completed within required timeframes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a pleasant and friendly manner. Strong team player to support growing team of clinicians and management. Ability to work independently, efficiently, and effectively with high attention to detail. Excellent time management and problem‑solving skills. Strong computer skills – familiarity with medical or health related practice management systems, Zanda, Outlook, Office and understanding of Medicare, DVA and Workers Compensation preferred. Self‑motivated with positive can‑do attitude. Ability to treat all sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. Demonstrated initiative and openness to learn.
