About Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) CPM is the engine behind IB&M’s balance sheet optimisation. We actively manage capital to improve customer outcomes, strengthen risk management, and drive commercial performance. Our work shapes strategic decisions across IB&M. What you’ll do Shape origination, pricing, and distribution decisions to optimise returns and capital efficiency. Drive growth through forward‑looking portfolio strategies. Build and lead a high‑performing team, fostering curiosity and continuous improvement. Champion cross‑functional initiatives that enhance portfolio insights and execution discipline. Represent CPM in senior forums, influencing enterprise‑wide capital allocation and risk appetite. Translate complex portfolio dynamics into clear, actionable insights. Stay ahead of market shifts and guide strategic responses. Role model CBA’s values and leadership behaviours, contributing to a safe, inclusive, and high‑performance workplace. What we’re looking for Extensive experience in banking, treasury or risk, with a track record of delivering strategic portfolio outcomes. Proven ability to lead teams and drive cross‑functional initiatives. Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability. Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills. Strategic mindset with the ability to turn vision into measurable impact. Collaborative leadership style and ability to build trusted relationships.
