Decus Engineering is a diverse Structural, Mechanical and Piping contractor delivering both workshop fabrication and site installation works for various clients across the resources and infrastructure sectors. Due to growth in the business, we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. About the role We are looking for a strong leader who is able to manage on-site construction activities. This role will involve working on remote client sites. Responsibilities Maintain and improve a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to enhance performance in terms of quality, safety & productivity. Manage, mentor and develop the team to ensure retention, recruitment and training of high‑quality tradespeople. Co‑ordinate resources, schedules and activities to provide cost outcomes. Apply HSEQ processes and procedures to ensure minimum training standards are adhered to & all activities are executed safely, with quality and on time. Communicating with suppliers & customers. About You Minimum 5 years experience working in a construction environment; Qualified Electrician with extensive gold mine commissioning experience. Strong supervision skills and experience. Thorough understanding of regulations, legislations and occupational health and safety protocols. Highly developed people management skills with an ability to communicate at all levels. A high attention to detail and self‑motivated. Results‑oriented. Demonstrated experience in delivering continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
