Your new companyThis Federal Government agency is responsible for providing a wide range of assistance and support to individuals and families in need.They aim to promote the well-being and self-sufficiency of individuals and families by providing access to essential resources and support services. This can include financial assistance, healthcare access, employment training, and other forms of support to help individuals and families overcome economic hardship and improve their quality of life.In addition this organisation plays a role in protecting vulnerable populations, such as children and the elderly, from abuse and neglect. They may also be involved in administering programs related to foster care, adoption, and child protective services.Your new roleYou will be responsible for;Assessing applications for accuracy, completeness and eligibility against criteria and relevant guidelinesGathering information relevant to the work of applications to support APS6 Team Leaders and Executive Level (EL) staff to make informed decisionsUndertaking requests for reviews if parties to the agreement cannot resolve disputes for assessments conductedProviding intelligence about service delivery on the groundAnalysing and assessing information and data to draw conclusions and recommendations, and escalating as requiredIdentifying issues of concern and trends and escalate these appropriatelyGathering and analysing information to determine grant recipient compliance and service quality in accordance with relevant program guidelines and funding arrangements.What you'll need to succeedApplicants will additionally need to demonstrate;Australian CitizenshipBaseline Level Security Clearance, or ability to obtainGrants experience or transferrable skillsWhat you'll get in returnThis position is a genuine career step that will provide you with the exposure to showcase your ability and further develop your skill set within a large Federal Government Agency.You will receive weekly pay cycles, and an hourly rate between $49 - $53p/h + super.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, please forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to this job isn't quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career.
