It aligns with Red Cross goals of strengthening community connection and resilience while providing volunteers with valuable skills and meaningful impact on Tiwi communities. The opportunity This role provides a unique chance to experience the Tiwi Islands and engage deeply with its vibrant community. You will support the incredible impact Red Cross makes on the island while working alongside and learning from professionals in the humanitarian and community development sector. The impact As a Tiwi Community Support Volunteer, you will play a vital role in strengthening community connection and resilience. By assisting with administrative tasks, coordinating events, and supporting logistics between Darwin and Tiwi, you will help ensure the smooth delivery of essential services. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Tiwi community, learning from their unique culture and values, while collaborating with a passionate team of professionals. Your contributions will directly support impactful programs that foster unity and make a real difference in people's lives. Application requirements For this role you will be required to undertake a National Police Check, which will be organised through Red Cross. The role will also require you to hold or apply for a Working With Children Check or Working With Vulnerable People Check depending on your State/Territory.
