Fixed-Term Maternity Leave Position • 27 January 2026 – 12 October 2026 0.8 FTE (flexible hours and days, with attendance required at key school events) Position Overview The Multimedia Content Creator plays a key role in telling the Scots story through high‑quality visual content that showcases the life, achievements and spirit of our School. Working within the Community Relations and Advancement team, this role is responsible for producing professional‑grade photography, videography, social media content, and graphic design assets for print and digital communication. The ideal candidate will be a skilled creative professional with experience in fast‑paced environments, strong technical ability across Adobe Creative Cloud, and a passion for crafting engaging and authentic content. Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience in professional‑level photography (indoor and outdoor) and videography. Strong editing skills using Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro. Proven ability to create engaging digital content for social media. Graphic design capability using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator. Experience designing for both digital and print formats, including layout, typography and file preparation. Ability to work flexibly across the week (0.8 FTE) and attend key School events as required. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast‑paced environment. A creative eye, strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards. Current Working with Children Check is required. Experience working in an educational, community or not‑for‑profit setting. Knowledge of brand management and visual identity systems. Experience in drone photography/videography (with appropriate licensing). Familiarity with content management systems and basic website updates.
