The Client Quest Prahran operates a hotel accommodation business in Prahran in VIC. They are looking for an experienced and competent Hotel Manager to oversee the hotel accommodation operations. Business Address: 9 Balmoral Street, South Yarra, VIC 3141 The Role The position for hire is a Hotel Manager and will be for a full time role with an annual salary set between $76,000 to $78,000 plus superannuation. Responsibilities Managing all operational functions of the business: including sales, front office reception, housekeeping and maintenance, IT, administration. Evaluating and addressing customer feedback and satisfaction levels. Supervising financial transactions and procurement processes. Compliance of occupational health and safety standards. Providing guests with local tourism insights and facilitating tour and transportation arrangements. Monitoring security protocols. Communicating and liaising with Property Landlords in regard to required maintenance. Promoting the Hotel and location on social media. Attending QAH professional learning and development sessions. Requirements Minimum Diploma level or equivalent. At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, with at least recent and continued 12 months of work experience in the role with the same employer. At least 2 years of experience in managing daily hotel or motel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and guest services. At least 2 years of experience leading team and in staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management. At least 32 years of experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue forecasting. At least 2 years of experience in handling customer relations, resolving guest complaints, and ensuring service excellence. Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to multitask while maintaining a calm and efficient demeanour.
