The opportunity We are looking for an experienced Trust Accounts Officer to join our National Finance team. We have a friendly team culture, and our Business Services team is at the core of our success. The role is fast paced and will suit someone with demonstrated experience processing a high volume of data with strong accuracy. You'll be busy with processing of trust account transactions (receipts, payments, PEXA settlements) trust account reconciliations processing and reconciliation of controlled money in the practice management system manage trust account records in accordance with statutory requirements periodic reporting of the trust account, filing, lodgements and liaising with auditors training of trust processes and accounting program to staff and communications with the wider firm stakeholders To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have 2+ years' experience preferably within a law firm environment experience in trust accounting, legal, finance or similar industry accounts operations understanding of Australian trust accounting regulations (law society rules) excellent accuracy with processing volumestrong time management, attention to detail and organisational skills experience with our practice management system (Aderant) is advantageous, plus intermediate skills in Microsoft Office experience in a national or large multi-office firm knowledge of property settlements and PEXA processing exposure to trust account audits and regulatory reporting What we offer Unrivalled career pathways: Our 180 day career forecasting sessions provide the platform to fast-track your progression.
