MCKINLY Eatery is looking for a casual and full time enthusiastic, skilled Barista and All Rounder to join our team in Balwyn, Victoria. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious coffee beverages in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment. This position requires availability to work weekends as part of the role requirements. What you'll be doing Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks to customers, including espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and specialty coffee drinks. Operating and maintaining coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and other barista tools. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers. Assisting with other front-of-house duties, such as taking orders, clearing tables, and restocking supplies. Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment. Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards. What we're looking for Fluent in English, with additional language skills in Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese. At least 2 years of barista experience within a comparable hospitality environment, at least 1 year of front-of-house experience. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, including the ability to pull consistently excellent espresso shots. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team. Australian work rights are acceptable but not essential for this position.
