Home Care Worker (2) - Fairfield - Casual - Experienced When was the last time you made a difference in someone's life? We are looking for just that person with 3 months or more experience in a similar role to join the Silverchain team in the Fairfield 2165 area. What we’re looking for We are looking for people who: Enjoy having variety in their day. Can build positive relationships with clients and their families. Care about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer. Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help. In addition, you will need An Open ClassAustralian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle. 3 months or more in a similar role. The role In the role of Home Care Worker, you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as: General housekeeping and making beds. Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors. Washing, folding and ironing laundry. Meal preparation and grocery shopping. You will also be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as: Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day. Assisting with mobility and therapy goals. Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia. Providing social and emotional support. Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments. Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.
