Senior Creative & Social Lead (Maternity Leave Cover) Based in Byron Bay (Mon–Wed in office, Thurs WFH, Friday OFF) $80k/year (0.8 FTE), with the option to stay on if it’s a great fit We’re Unscripted — the app used by millions of photographers around the world to shoot with confidence, grow their skills, and run thriving small businesses. We’re a high-growth subscription app with a tight-knit team, a deeply engaged community, and a brand people love. We’re looking for a Senior Creative & Social Lead to step in while our current Social Lead is on maternity leave and potentially stay longer if it’s a great fit. You’ll lead our organic marketing , social strategy , UGC creator network , and the creative pipeline that fuels both our organic content and paid ad performance. This is a senior, hands‑on creative leadership role . You’ll have support and direct reports around you but you should also be energized by making content yourself, testing trends , shaping strategy, and driving results through high‑quality execution. What You’ll Own Organic Social Leadership Lead strategy + execution across our thriving Instagram & TikTok accounts Test new concepts, create compelling posts in Canva and Cap Cut Oversee daily posting cadence, content mix, and storytelling formats Creative Production Own the creative pipeline for both organic & paid ad concepts Ideate, brief, script, storyboard, edit, and/or repurpose content Ensure our voice stays inspiring, supportive, educational, and high‑energy UGC Creator Program & Content Sourcing Recruit, brief, negotiate, and manage ongoing relationships with UGC creators Evaluate performance data to double down on winning creatives & content types Community Engagement & Relationship Building Nurture our Instagram DM channel & TikTok communities with thoughtful conversation Reply to comments and DMs with brand warmth & helpfulness Support featured photographers, collab requests, and platform‑driven storytelling Campaign Execution Collaborate with Product & Marketing for feature launches, seasonal campaigns, education pushes, and competitions Turn product improvements into compelling stories & moments that spread naturally Team Leadership Manage social & creative contributors in the team Delegate tasks, run approvals, set content quality standards Coach and enable your team to move fast & create with excellence We’re Looking For Someone Who Has senior‑level confidence but you’re just as happy to execute as you are to plan Understands how to speak to creatives & small business owners with emotional intelligence Ideally has a keen interest and eye for photography Can turn product features into inspiring brand narratives Is strong in content creation , copywriting , editing , visual direction , and trends Nerds out on content performance metrics , but never loses the heart of the brand Thrives in a small, high‑ownership environment Familiarity with photography or visual storytelling spaces Strong creative editing skills in Canva, CapCut, or similar tools Experience briefing AI tools for concepting / voiceover / captioning What Success Looks Like Organic reach & follower growth increase month‑over‑month to reach quarterly targets Maintains and iterates on our existing steady pipeline of scroll‑stopping content Executes on product launches that are engaging, not boring announcements Builds strong relationships with our UGC creators that feed our creative pipeline for our ads team To Apply Email: *********@unscriptedphotographers.com Send: Your CV or LinkedIn 3–5 social pieces you’ve personally created (reels/tiktoks/campaigns) Your go‑to AI and editing tools A short note on why you care about creative communities #J-18808-Ljbffr
