Project Manager – Digital & AI Initiatives A large Queensland Government department is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of innovative digital and data-driven projects. This role will drive transformation initiatives that enhance customer service, modernise systems, and enable smarter use of information and emerging technologies across government. Work in a forward-thinking team driving digital transformation across Queensland. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage project planning, delivery, and reporting to ensure successful outcomes. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support collaboration across agencies. Oversee risk, change, and quality management to ensure projects meet agreed outcomes. Monitor project benefits, schedules, dependencies, and budgets, ensuring strong governance and accountability. Lead vendor engagements and contract management, ensuring services align with program objectives. Facilitate project assurance and continuous improvement activities to uplift delivery maturity. Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience managing digital transformation, systems development, or systems integration projects. Proven ability to lead Agile project delivery and apply modern project management methodologies. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build partnerships. Experience managing budgets, teams, and vendor contracts across complex environments. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivery outcomes. Relevant qualifications or certifications in Agile, project management, or digital delivery highly regarded. Pre-employment screening including a criminal history check is required. Pay and Contract Base pay range: $133.90/hr - $133.90/hr (Contract opportunity within a large Queensland Government department.
