Village Manager – Arcadia Retirement Village, Yeronga We have an opportunity for a driven, people-focused Village Manager to join and build our Village team and take the reins of a brand-new retirement community nestled in the heart of Yeronga, only 15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. As our founding Village Manager, you will play a key role in building the culture, standard of service and resident experience at Arcadia. You will also have the unique opportunity to participate in the recruitment of your foundation team. If you value a close-knit environment that fosters community, this role is for you. As the operational leader of the village, you will report directly to the State Manager and will play a pivotal role in bringing RetireAustralia's mission to life. You'll be well-supported to ensure the seamless day-to-day functioning of the community. Your dedication to maintaining consistently high levels of resident satisfaction, will be integral to your success in empowering residents to maintain their preferred lifestyle in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible. Interviewing now for a January 2026 start Your duties will include : Work closely with the wider teams including care, sales, marketing, finance, and refurbishment, to assist in the opening of the village and operational readiness. Village administration and financial performance. Planning, developing, and managing Village budgets (working with Resident Committee). Manage key services and maintain presentation of the Village to high standards. Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing village team. Enhancing resident satisfaction and relationships. Lead and foster a positive culture in a community living environment. Work closely with the wider teams including care, sales, marketing, finance, and refurbishment, to ensure successful operation of the village. Selection Criteria Proven leader with experience managing a retirement village or a multi-faceted service organisation Prior experience within Retirement Living, Aged or Community Care services (desirable). Knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act (or ability to quickly ascertain), and other relevant regulations, including health and safety Strong financial management and commercial acumen skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Relevant qualification in Business or Retirement Living (desirable) Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, First Aid & CPR (or ability to obtain) Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including a drug and alcohol test The Benefits With a company culture that speaks true to its values, we provide a one-of-a-kind environment.
