Reporting to the Shift Supervisor of our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) at Canning Vale, you will be responsible for the monitoring of the flow of materials and quality control. Shifts Day shift: 6am - 2pm Please note, you may be required to work overtime when required with some flexibility. About the role Sort recyclable materials from a conveyor belt Remove waste materials so it does not damage plant equipment or the product Check materials and sort into designated areas by type, size, condition, or colour Ad hoc labouring duties in the plant as required Report system problems immediately to management About you Previous experience in waste management, warehousing, manufacturing, FMCG or similar related industry A strong commitment to safety — you always think “safety first” A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Forklift or front end loader tickets would be highly desirable Full availability, including weekends and overtime when required Report any system faults or near misses immediately to management What we offer you Attractive base hourly rate + OT on offer Training will be provided upon commencement Multiple career paths and advancement opportunities Novated car leasing PPE will be supplied by Re.Group On-site parking available Access to our employee assistance program (EAP) enhancing your lifestyle and well-being The opportunity to work towards our vision of creating a wasteless society At Re.Group, we celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion.
