Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for aProject Finance Administrator to join our Sydney Team. We seek a motivated Administrator who can look after finance administration and project lifecycle but also manage the office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities This role will give you the opportunity to: Support the office, project managers and senior management in all Geosyntec offices Proposal and Project set up Assisting with Purchase Order setup and maintenance (including submitting supplier invoices) Providing advice on project setup, tax requirements, invoicing and revenue Oversight of Account Payable and Receivables Revenue analysis and financial performance review Project revenue analysis for PMs Backlog and market sector reporting Ad hoc reporting for senior management Monthly Invoicing cycle and Timesheet reporting Client Purchase Order reviews Purchase Order / Expense Reconciliation / Supplier Management Inbox Management – Geosyntec Admin & Personal Site Onboarding / Medicals / Travel requests / Document control General office administration Education and Licensure A minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in project administration, preferably in a professional services firm A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major in accounting or finance is preferred; however, significant work-related experience may be considered Skills, Experience and Qualifications Experience in Professional Services Firm (Engineering Preferred) Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (preferred) Experience within Finance, Accounting or similar Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (required) Project administration experience. (preferred) Invoicing experience. (preferred) Knowledge of Infor system (highly regarded) Knowledge of JDE, Oracle, SAP, Coupa or other accounting software. (required) Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. (required) Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment. Ability to demonstrate strong organisational skills. Ability to work with multiple time zones and team members over multiple offices. Experience with Microsoft Suite.
