We are Tasmanians who proudly operate Hadley’s Orient Hotel and The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel. The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel is a multiple award‑winning accommodation hotel. We are conveniently located near Hobart's CBD and famous waterfront, offering 242 hotel rooms and spacious apartments along with a restaurant, bar and a comprehensive range of meeting and event facilities. Hadley’s Orient Hotel is Hobart’s most authentic heritage hotel, featuring 71 rooms and suites, a restaurant, bar, and event spaces with the magnificent Atrium at its heart. Home to the Hadley’s Art Prize, various exhibitions and corporate events, Hadley’s is also renowned for our traditional Afternoon Tea service. We are seeking to appoint a motivated and friendly full‑time Events and Group Administrator. The Events and Group Administrator is a flexible role working across both of our properties, providing administrative and operational support to our Events and Group Accommodation functions, including for events, group dinners, group accommodation bookings, and coverage when our Events Coordinators and Group Reservations Coordinator are on leave. Working as part of the broader Food and Beverage and Front Office/Reservations teams, the Events and Group Administrator will deliver exceptional customer service, including occasional work on the front line. Qualifications Previous experience in a busy hotel environment or similar The ability to multitask and prioritise their workload Outstanding attention to detail A passion for providing genuine hospitality and memorable guest experiences Excellent written and verbal communication skills A willingness to embrace innovation A friendly, thoughtful and highly organised approach to customer service The ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality Excellent administration and organisational skills Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and experience working in a busy Food and Beverage environment.
