Head of Data Management Full-time | (Australia) About the Role We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Data Management to lead the setup of our new data management practice in Australia .This is a unique opportunity to build the data function from the ground up , establish governance frameworks, define data strategy, and embed a culture of data-driven decision making across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the data management strategy for the new Australian practice. Establish data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes from scratch. Design and implement scalable data architecture, metadata management, and master data processes . Build a high-performing team of data stewards, governance leads, and data engineers . Drive data quality initiatives , monitor performance, and ensure continuous improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology, and compliance to ensure data is accurate, secure, and accessible . Ensure adherence to regulatory and privacy requirements, including Australia’s Privacy Act and GDPR (where applicable). Promote a data-driven culture and increase data literacy across the organisation. Introduce best practices, tools, and emerging technologies to strengthen the data function.
