Project Manager, Australia (Mandarin speaking) Join Emerald Clinical, a global contract research organization dedicated to advancing clinical research through scientific expertise and operational excellence, in this exciting role based in Australia. About The Role The Project Manager is responsible for the development, conduct, and completion of research projects in accordance with the reasonable requirements of the originator. They oversee all aspects of study management activities including cross‑functional team leadership and coordination, client communication, financial management, and overall study delivery. They ensure projects are resourced effectively, managed efficiently, and achieved within allocated budgets and agreed timelines. They also mentor junior staff and work independently or with support from portfolio delivery leads. Your Responsibilities Ensure all activities comply with project documentation, SOPs, ICH GCP and regulatory requirements. Maintain professional relationships with external customers, investigators, vendors and internal project teams. Provide clear guidance on deliverables. Attend project kick‑off meetings and develop project plans and internal documentation. Coordinate feasibility planning, site selection and vendor engagement. Contribute to project budgeting and track budget and scope changes. Oversee site set‑up, training, and compliance with SOPs and regulations. Track progress, deliver milestones, and coordinate study administration. Prepare and sign‑off monitoring visit reports and ensure patient safety reporting. File and archive clinical data at project end and provide progress reports to stakeholders. Manage data quality, query resolution, and adherence to protocols and GCP. Analyze financial reports, forecast revenue, and manage scope changes. Maintain customer relationships and support business development activities. Support quality management activities and audit readiness. About You Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin. Experience managing early‑phase clinical projects; Bachelor’s or Master’s in a science or related field. Previous experience in academic, CRO or pharmaceutical environments. Approximately 7 years industry experience; prior CRA or site management preferred. Strong knowledge of ICH GCP, regulations, and SOPs. Client‑facing experience and financial management in a CRO is preferred. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills, including virtual team management.
