Electrical Supervisor

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Pajingo operations on an 8/6 roster. DIDO and FIFO applicants provided accommodation and meals in Charters Towers. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead your direct reports to deliver safe, efficient, and high‑quality maintenance across all Processing operations. This role focuses on optimising plant reliability and performance while ensuring planned maintenance and shutdown activities are executed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical maintenance activities across the Processing Plant, Crushing Circuit, and associated site infrastructure. Ensure all electrical work complies with legislative, regulatory, and site safety standards. Coordinate planned maintenance, shutdowns, and project work to meet operational and production targets. Manage and mentor a team of electricians and apprentices, providing guidance, and performance management as required. Oversee contractor activities, ensuring compliance with site procedures and safety requirements. Develop and implement electrical work procedures and standards where required. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure CMMS data integrity. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance, energy efficiency, and reliability. About You A minimum of five years’ electrical experience within mining, commercial, or heavy industrial environments. Demonstrated supervisory experience with proven leadership, communication, and team‑development skills. Practical experience in high‑voltage systems and switching operations. Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively. Proficiency in CMMS systems (ideally SAP) and general computer applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Comprehensive understanding of electrical industry standards and practices, supported by sound knowledge of the Electrical Safety Act, associated Regulations, and proven experience in risk, safety, and compliance management. Proven experience in managing contractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and site procedures. Well‑developed planning and project scheduling skills.
