PaCH provides community health services that give care to individuals, families and carers, as well as population health services that focus on the whole community or key groups within the community. PaCH's services are provided at the District's hospitals, community-based facilities including child and family health centres, community health centres and specialist clinics. We work with other service providers across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District, including hospitals and mental health services. This position is responsible for providing strong leadership and coordinated support to the Director Population and Community Health (PaCH) to meet the strategic and operational elements of the Directorate. The position will provide high level support to the Director and be responsible for implementing, managing and coordinating projects, processes and activities within the Director’s line of responsibility; liaise with key stakeholders within and external to the Directorate and coordination of cross-directorate activities. The Executive Officer will also prepare robust, logical, timely reports and other correspondence for a diverse audience. Benefits Up to 12 allocated days off each year in addition to annual leave. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline, health management or related area, or relevant equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience. Demonstrated skills and experience in developing, managing, implementing and coordinating projects. Demonstrated high level competence in preparing reports and complex correspondence within strict timeframes. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation, organisational and problem solving skills with a commitment to maintain high standards of professional conduct. Demonstrated ability and sound achievement working at a senior management level in monitoring budgets and administrative processes, in a large and complex organisation. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, and other key stakeholders. Highly developed computer skills with significant experience in using Microsoft office applications and general record management.
