The Tree Company Planting & Maintenance (TTCPM) is a relatively new business operating alongside The Tree Company Arboricultural Services. TTCPM operates out of the Preston depot, specialising in tree maintenance, tree watering and tree planting projects for various local councils and commercial clients. We have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, dynamic Tree Maintenance Officer in Preston to join our growing team. We will be actively recruiting for a minimum of 2 full-time permanent positions Responsibilities Abiding by all TTC Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Safe Working Method Statements (SWMS). Carrying out tree planting and maintenance in accordance with Australian Standard (AS Tree stock for landscape use). Driving TTC vehicles in accordance with policies and procedures as required. Operating plant and equipment in accordance with TTC policies and procedures, SWMS, manuals, and with due care and attention. Performing routine and unplanned maintenance as required. Setting up site signage, cones, and exclusion zones. Various environmental maintenance tasks such as watering, re-mulching, re-staking, fertilizing, weed control, formative pruning, greenwell/stake removal. Tidying up the job site upon job completion. Contributing to team responsibilities, duties, and a cohesive working environment. Communicating with clients, employees, and members of the public in a courteous and professional manner. Minimizing the impact on surrounding vegetation and wildlife by planning suitable routes in/out of worksites.
