Senior HVAC Construction Project Manager We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (HVAC Construction) Our client, a leading National mechanical services contractor is seeking a seasoned Senior HVAC Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial projects across Victoria. This is a high-impact role for a strategic leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering excellence in HVAC construction. You will be responsible for delivering several projects simultaneously. You will manage the job fully including overseeing design changes, budgeting and financial management, scheduling, programming and managing an established team of subcontractors. In addition to subcontractor management, you will also be responsible for key stakeholder management and will be able to consult and work with the client and internal management, to achieve desired outcomes. You will be proficient at managing multiple contracts at a time and developing relationships through outstanding customer service, thus ensuring your clients become repeat clients again and again. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of HVAC construction projects from design through commissioning Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships with precision Coordinate with engineering, drafting, procurement, and site teams to ensure seamless execution Drive safety, quality, and compliance across all project phases Mentor junior project managers and site supervisors Identify and mitigate risks while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction You Will Bring Qualifications in Engineering or a related trade/tertiary field; on-the-job training also considered Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Project Management role within HVAC, Building Automation, or Energy Performance sectors Strong field knowledge of HVAC systems and controls, with proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities Demonstrated ability to uphold high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across complex projects Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multidisciplinary teams Commercial acumen with a track record of meeting business and project targets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients, teams, and stakeholders Familiarity with contract administration and commercial project delivery Project Management qualifications are advantageous Career development and progression opportunities, plus a competitive remuneration package is on offer for the right applicants.
