About the Centre Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre (APARC) is part of the Boroondara Leisure Facilities and is managed by YMCA Victoria. Running a variety of fitness programs to support your journey to a healthier lifestyle. The centre is home to five pools; an outdoor 25m Pool, Indoor 25m Pool, Hydrotherapy Pool, 2 spas, a toddler pool with a feature play slide and a sauna. Ashburton also has 2 basketball courts, a gym, creche and a café. About the Role As a Customer Service Officer at Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre you will be greeting members, responding to enquiries via email, phone or in-person, as well as performing general but important administrative tasks. Our Customer Service Officer's always put the customer experience at the forefront of all interactions with people within the community. Some of your responsibilities will include: Provide customers with sales solutions when enquiring about memberships and programs Conduct centre tours with prospective members Follow up customers and members as required Promote available programs and services Accurately receipt, process and balance customer payments This is a casual or permanent part-time (3 days per week)position. The hourly rate for the casual position is$31.18 per hour + Superannuation + Y Benefits. The hourly rate for the permanent part-time role is $24.95 per hour + Superannuation + Y Benefits. About You With our focus on providing the exceptional customer experience and always providing outstanding customer service, we will be looking for someone who is energetic, can help to create a welcoming environment and enthusiastic about helping and assisting others. You will be working alongside our other Customer Service Officers, and will also work closely with Duty Managers to ensure smooth service and running of the facility overall.
