Disability Support Workers – Complex Behaviours We are seeking experienced and confident Disability Support Workers in the Bayside Area (VIC) to join a dedicated 2:1 team supporting a participant with complex psychosocial disability and with complex behaviours. This participant presents with high-risk behaviours, including verbal and physical aggression and property damage. Staff must be equipped to manage and respond to these behaviours while fostering a respectful, structured and trauma-informed environment.The role involves working across morning, afternoon, and active awake night shifts as part of a rotating 24/7 roster. You will be working closely with clinicians, behaviour support practitioners, and support coordinators to implement care plans that prioritise safety, dignity, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on daily support and personal care to participants with complex needs Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies in a calm, professional manner Manage behavioural escalations with empathy and de‑escalation techniques Support participants with medication prompts, emotional regulation, and daily routines Encourage capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely. Maintain clear and accurate documentation (shift notes, incident reports, etc.) Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary and clinical team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
