Our mission is to grow the sport of rugby league, deliver exceptional entertainment, and create value for all stakeholders, from players and fans to partners and communities. We’re looking for a Medical Coordinator to join our team and lead our Past Player Health Screening and Referral Service. In the role you will: Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Past Players Health Screening and Referral Service, ensuring seamless service delivery and coordination. Interpret clinical documentation and health‑related queries to support informed decision‑making and appropriate care pathways. Manage triage processes, referrals, stakeholder communications, and case documentation for former players of the game. Oversee financial reporting, program evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives for the Past Players Health Program. Contribute to broader operational efforts including funding applications, grant management, partnership development, and promotion of services to past players. Serve as the primary point of contact for all health‑related inquiries from past players to the NRL/ARLC. Collaborate with internal development teams to enhance service automation and support system improvements. Drive initiatives that reconnect past players with the game and promote proactive health‑seeking behaviours. Ideally you will have: Relevant qualifications in health administration, public health or a related field. 2 years’ experience in acute or emergency care preferred but not required. Experience in case management, particularly within a healthcare or clinical setting. Strong clinical decision‑making and prioritisation. Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and health care professionals. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should you meet most of the criteria and share our beliefs, please apply. The NRL is a child‑safe organisation committed to providing a safe place for all children to learn and have fun. We have strong recruitment procedures to make sure the safest and most suitable people work with us and require all applicants to undergo an extensive screening process prior to appointment, a process that will include, but is not limited to comprehensive reference checks, an identity check, "Working with Children" checks and/or national criminal history checks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
