About the Role The role drives proactive involvement in industry bodies, standards committees, and regulatory frameworks to influence outcomes, unlock innovation opportunities, and ensure product development aligns with compliance and market needs. Some of the key responsibilities include: Provide thought leadership and position Watts as a trusted industry voice, strengthening brand credibility. Align standards writing initiatives with innovation and product development roadmaps to ensure regulatory compliance and market readiness. Partner with R&D, Product Managers and cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory considerations are embedded early in product roadmaps. Ensure early identification of risks and opportunities related to compliance, certification, and market access. Coach and mentor internal teams to build knowledge of standards, regulatory requirements, and market trends. About You To be successful in this role, you need to be able to demonstrate the following experience: 15+ years’ experience in plumbing, water control, building products, or related industries. Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, Building Codes, and regulatory frameworks. Collaborative, mentoring leadership style with a focus on breaking down silos.
