Technical Officer / Trainee Technical Officer EZIKIT has been proudly operating in Tasmania for 22 years. We are seeking a Technical Officer (or Trainee) to support our design and production teams across a range of technical, administrative, and practical tasks. This role is central to our workflow — ensuring materials and hardware for jobs are ordered accurately, components are checked, stock is managed, and the production process runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities Timely ordering of materials, hardware, and components for jobs Learn and operate Jobman (our ERP system) Complete quantity take-off s and check job documentation Support stock management and inventory tasks Liaise with the factory and design teams regarding job requirements Quality-check goods prior to dispatch Assist with dispatch and deliveries as required Opportunity for the right candidate to learn Cabmaster (CAD) , generate job related reports, complete on-site check-measures, and utilise other technical systems About You Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach Confident computer skills and willingness to learn new software Strong digital literacy and experience using technical systems Practical, hands‑on attitude and able to assist on the factory floor when needed Clear communicator who enjoys working as part of a team Reliable, organised, and proactive Must have unrestricted Australian work rights Beneficial (but not essential) Background in cabinetry, design, or trade work Manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience Experience with CAD, ERP systems, or technical documentation Detail measuring or check‑measure experience Training provided, immediate start for the right candidate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
