Environmental Services Assistant Job No: JR Cairns Private Hospital Casual Environmental Services - Cleaner / Laundry About the Role We are seeking a motivated Environmental Services Assistant to join our friendly and supportive a role you will play an important part in maintaining a safe hygienic and welcoming environment for our patients staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in line with infection control guidelines Ensuring all equipment is cleaned, restocked and stored appropriately Taking responsibility and accountability for your allocated duties Following safe work practices and adhering to workplace health and safety requirements Skills and Experience Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or similar environment (highly desirable) Experience with cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers (highly desirable) A sound understanding of OHS and safe work practices The ability to prioritise tasks and complete work to a high standard safely and efficiently About Us Cairns Private Hospital is a modern well-equipped facility which offers a comprehensive range of medical and allied services.
