Receptionist – Orthodontic Practice (Part-Time, 4 Days) An exciting opportunity is available to join our reception team at Berwick Orthodontic Specialists . We are seeking a friendly, organised, and patient-focused receptionist to be one of the welcoming faces of our practice. About Us Berwick Orthodontic Specialists is a long-standing specialist practice providing a comprehensive range of orthodontic treatments, including traditional braces, clear aligners, and other appliances. We pride ourselves on professionalism, teamwork, and creating confident smiles in a supportive and positive environment. About the Role As part of our reception team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth daily operation of the practice. Key Responsibilities Welcoming patients and being the friendly face of the practice Scheduling appointments for new and existing patients, including follow-ups Processing payments in person and over the phone Lodging Private Health Insurance claims via HICAPS Managing emails, financial contracts, and accurate data entry Supporting the clinical team to ensure efficient patient flow Thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Skills & Experience Previous dental or healthcare reception experience (preferred, but not essential – training provided) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong multitasking and organisational abilities A warm, professional manner with the ability to build rapport with both children and adults The ability to work both independently and as part of a team A polished, reliable, and professional presentation What We Offer Hours: 8:15am – 5:30pm Days: Monday to Friday on a rotating schedule: Week 1: Monday to Thursday (Friday off) Week 2: Monday to Friday (Thursday off) Salary negotiable based on skills and experience Supportive leadership team with ongoing training and development Friendly, vibrant team culture Street parking available adjacent to the practice Availability Applicants must be available to work Monday to Friday as part of a rotating 4-day schedule.
