Maintenance Planning Officer Baulkham Hills, New South WalesFull-time Overview Are you a proactive, detail-focused person who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and keeping complex information organized? Do you like understanding how things work, especially in technical or engineering environments, and using that knowledge to help teams plan and operate more effectively? If you’re someone who can coordinate tasks, analyse information, and support a busy team with confidence and initiative, then this role could be for you Responsibilities Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for council assets across all asset classes. Liaise with various departments/staff to ensure maintenance activities are planned and delivered efficiently. Assist with the prioritisation of maintenance activities based on urgency, safety and resource availability. Develop and run reports to monitor expenditure against budget and report any variances. Collect and analyse data related to maintenance activities, asset and staff performance to inform maintenance planning. Assist with the development and issue of tenders and request for quotations. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in a relevant area i.e. engineering, construction or building. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of ISO5000 Asset Management Standards. Drivers Licence (Class C) – NSW. White Card - General Construction Induction (or willing to obtain). Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering or Asset Management (or currently studying).
