Greencross Cockburn is a modern and established community focused practice with some very lovely, loyal clients Located conveniently next to Petbarn, allowing for a steady-stream of cross-referrals and providing a full range of pet care, helping achieve a truly memorable and positive experience. We are committed to providing the highest quality of care for our patients and the very best service for our clients. We have a high focus on stress free handling to ensure our patients are as comfortable as possible. As an integral part of our nursing team, you'll work alongside experienced vets and nurses in a well-supported setting. Your role will include: Permanent Full-time hours Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient care Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care Performing minor procedures when required Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment Encouraged and supported to take initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone We’re seeking a Qualified Veterinary Nurse with at least 2+ years of clinical experience , who is ready to bring their skills and positive energy: Strong surgical experience with the ability to monitor anaesthetics competently is essential Calm, mature, empathetic with great communication and customer service skills Experience guiding and mentoring nurse team members Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential Experience in team-based care advantageous Ability to work well autonomously and also within a team environment If this sounds like the role for you, Apply Today We would love to meet you For a confidential discussion, please contact Victoria Mckeown via *** or ***************@gxltd.com.au Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
