Company Description Greencross Cockburn is a modern and established community‑focused veterinary practice located conveniently next to Petbarn, offering a full range of pet care. Our focus is on stress‑free handling and creating a memorable, positive experience for both patients and clients. Role As an integral part of our nursing team, you will work alongside experienced vets and nurses in a well‑supported setting. Your role will include: Permanent full‑time hours Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient care Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre‑ and post‑operative care, animal pathology, and emergency and critical care Performing minor procedures when required Maintaining overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment Encouraged and supported to take initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email, and over the phone Qualifications & Skills Qualified Veterinary Nurse with at least 2+ years of clinical experience Strong surgical experience; ability to monitor anaesthetics competently (essential) Calm, mature, empathetic with strong communication and customer‑service skills Experience guiding and mentoring nurse team members Knowledge of RX Works is ideal but not essential Experience in team‑based care is advantageous Ability to work well autonomously and also within a team environment Contact For a confidential discussion, please contact Victoria Mckeown at or .
