Organisation Our client is a leading manufacturer operating across multiple sites in Australia. The business continues to expand its product range and market share through a commitment to operational excellence and customer service. The Role This key role within the finance team reports directly to the Group Reporting Manager. The Senior Management Accountant will maintain general ledger integrity, manage month‑end processes, support budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities, ensure accurate financial data, drive continuous improvement and provide insights to support business performance. Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including preparation and posting of journals. Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations (intercompany, bank, fixed assets). Manage accruals, prepayments and depreciation schedules. Assist with month‑end management reporting, including preparation of executive summaries. Support external audit requirements and liaise with auditors as needed. Prepare and lodge BAS and FBT returns in accordance with ATO requirements. Conduct sales and customer analysis to support decision‑making. Assist in developing cash‑flow management processes and identify working‑capital improvement opportunities. Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure accurate capitalization and depreciation. Support implementation of ERP and automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency. The Ideal Candidate Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role. Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or industrial environments is highly regarded. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; exposure to ERP systems preferred. Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
