The Team You’ll join our high‑performing Delivery organisation, working closely with Project Managers, Architects, Technical Leads and QA. This team turns strategy into outcomes – shaping exceptional customer experiences and building platforms that scale. The Role We’re hiring a Salesforce Functional Consultant to drive discovery, solution shaping, and delivery across major Salesforce programs. You will work directly with client stakeholders to understand business problems, map processes, define requirements, and guide the end‑to‑end implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions. This role blends client advisory, functional design, Agile delivery, data migration, testing support, and cross‑team collaboration – all with a focus on quality, clarity, and measurable outcomes. Your work will accelerate digital transformation for clients while helping uplift Cloudwerx’s internal capability and delivery excellence. What you’ll do Client Discovery & Requirements Lead discovery workshops and gather requirements using user stories and functional specifications Map AS‑IS and TO‑BE business processes using tools such as Lucidchart Translate business goals into clear, actionable Salesforce capabilities Functional Design & Delivery Produce functional specification documents and support technical design with architecture and CoE teams Shape solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, and declarative configuration Provide estimates, delivery plans, and support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives Quality, Testing & Deployment Collaborate with QA to refine acceptance criteria and test cases Support UAT, coordinate with development/release teams, and ensure smooth deployments across instances Create user and training documentation and lead training sessions where required Data, Governance & Best Practice Prepare, clean, and migrate data across systems using ETL tools such as Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector, etc. Conduct solution POCs and ensure best‑practice Salesforce utilisation Act as a central reference point for clients and internal teams throughout delivery Mentor junior consultants and support capability uplift Champion Agile principles and Cloudwerx delivery excellence What we’re looking for 5+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant or similar Strong requirement‑gathering, problem‑solving, and analytical capability Demonstrated experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Communities Strong understanding of Agile delivery (Scrum) and tools such as JIRA & Confluence Experience creating functional designs, process maps, and solution documentation Hands‑on experience with data migration and ETL tooling Ability to lead discovery sessions and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams What’s in it for you Work with senior architects, technical leads, and a supportive leadership team Career growth opportunities across functional consulting, architecture, or delivery leadership Paid parental leave and enhanced family benefits Recognition programs and milestone rewards Extra days off: Birthday leave + tenure milestone leave Hybrid flexibility across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and remote‑friendly collaboration A values‑driven culture built on collaboration, curiosity, and delivery excellence Sound like you?
