In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate estimates for residential addition and renovation projects, playing a crucial part in the success of our growing business. The role is based in Daw Park, SA. What you'll be doing Reviewing project plans, specifications, and scope of work to develop detailed cost estimates Collaborating with the sales team to understand their clients unique requirements and constraints Preparing and submitting detailed cost estimates and proposals in a timely manner Maintaining a comprehensive database of cost information, material prices, and subcontractor rates Identifying potential cost‑saving opportunities and recommending alternative solutions Providing administrative support and assisting with project coordination to help streamline business operations What we're looking for Proven experience as a Residential Estimator or in a similar role within the construction industry Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost drivers Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work with attention to detail The ability to prepare accurate cost estimates in a timely manner Strong communication and interpersonal skills maintaining strong supplier relationships Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel What we offer At Belair Additions Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing a supportive and flexible work environment.
