Groundsperson / Garden Labourer

About the Role We are looking for a garden labourer/grounds person to assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance. This mobile role is based within Liverpool and surrounding areas and requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. We want to hear from those who have a passion for working with plants, and a desire to learn and grow in the horticultural industry. Responsibilities Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching. Operate hand tools such as hedgers, blowers and whipper snippers, and petrol gear such as push mowers and ride on plant equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members. Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment. Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field will be highly regarded. This role can be physically demanding and you must have the ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel and stand for extended periods. Your ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team will help you to be successful in this role. You have a current driver's licence and your own vehicle, and have, or are willing to obtain, a white card and a Working with Children Check.
