About the Role As a Groundsperson/Garden Labourer based at Centennial Parklands, you’ll help maintain and enhance some of Sydney’s most loved green spaces- from iconic gardens and lawns to historic landscapes. Working alongside skilled horticulturalists, you’ll: Assist with garden maintenance including hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching. Operate hand tools and petrol equipment such as hedgers, blowers, whipper snippers, push mowers, and ride‑on plant safely and effectively. Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from vehicles. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and machinery. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Every day, you’ll help create spaces that inspire people to get outdoors and connect with nature. What You’ll Bring A genuine interest in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance. Previous experience in outdoor or manual work (ideal but not essential). A strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to work safely and as part of a team. A driver’s licence (desirable). A White Card Ready to Grow with Us?
