As a Solution Architect, you'll have the exciting opportunity to define and deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that align with our business and IT strategies. Your role will be crucial in shaping our projects while adhering to best practices and industry standards. In this position, you will work closely with the proposed 8-10 squads to enable end to end architecture and ensure alignment to our wider data ecosystem.What you’ll doDefine current, transition, and target state solution architectures in line with domain and group architectureDesign for reuse and deployment across the group, leveraging existing components and infrastructureEnsure implementable solutions within business risk parameters, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security compliancePrepare solution designs and solutions options to support deliveryActively monitor project compliance with architecture and champion solution designs when necessaryReview system designs to ensure they adhere to applicable strategies and/or solution architecture, while still considering business pragmatism and costProvide overall technical leadership to agile teams in terms of the end-to-end solution, ensuring all facets of the designs and technologies are integrated to deliver an architecturally compliant implementationWhat you’ll bringBachelor Degree in Information Technology or related disciplines, or equivalent experienceArchitectural certification (e.g., TOGAF or other) desiredMinimum 5 years of IT experienceMinimum 3 years of IT Architecture or Design experienceExperience with Databricks, and Machine LearningFamiliarity with ArchiMate desiredExperience with Agile & Lean methodologies desiredWhat we can offerA range of flexible working and leave options, including 20 weeks paid parental leave, 4 weeks paid secondary carer parental leave and unlimited paid emergency response leaveDiscounts and offers on a range of retail favourite stores as well as banking and insurance productsGive back to our communities with payroll giving, donation matching and paid volunteer leaveInvest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs; andPrioritise your work/life balance with our robust employee assistance program and dedicated employee councilAt Suncorp we believe we are our best when our workforce is as diverse, talented and passionate as the communities in which we live and operate, and where our people feel included, valued and connected.
