Reporting into a Director, you will enjoy a senior role responsible for leading the planning, execution, and management of all commissioning activities through direct and employees and subcontractors for high-voltage transmission line and substation projects. Responsibilities Managing and leading project staff in all commissioning of substations, transmission lines, ancillary support buildings and all the new power technologies the Commissioning Manager will support the Construction Managers and Project Directors in ensuring the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Deed, Safety, agreed time, cost, quality and scope requirement. Assuring all systems and components are designed, installed, tested and operated Providing input to commercial team as to appropriate service providers Advising the Commercial Manager of any potential claims so appropriate notices can be developed, and records kept Providing effective management and leadership of the commissioning site and commissioning site team to meet contractual requirements Providing technical planning, design support and reporting for all aspects of the project works commissioning You will possess Experienced within an Electrical construction-based project, including the commissioning of substations and Transmission lines Demonstrable experience in the commissioning of large-scale complex projects Experience in providing effective hand back documentation Demonstrated ability to motivate / manage multi-disciplinary teams Strong communication and sound negotiation skills Sound legal, commercial and risk management knowledge If you are looking for a long-term engagement on what is certainly the biggest project in town, then we want to speak to you.
