Foreman - Electrical / Open Cabler / IT Field Technician Foreman – Lead, Innovate & Make an Impact BVD is seeking a dynamic Electrician / Registered Cabler or IT Field Technician Foreman to oversee in field project delivery across domestic, industrial, and commercial settings. In this permanent role, you will report directly to the Operations Manager, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for managing and mentoring technicians, driving efficiency, and providing technical expertise, working alongside a strong support team to deliver outstanding results. The ideal candidate would hold an electrical trade qualification, be a Registered Cabler or IT Field Technician with strong experience in project leadership. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and lead a team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment, we'd love to hear from you Coordination Collaborate with Project Managers, builders, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of data cabling work with the overall construction project. Compliance Ensure adherence to all electrical and cabling standards, regulations, and safety practices. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high-quality work. Team Leadership Provide direction and support to team members, manage work schedules, and ensure effective communication within the team. Problem-Solving Address and resolve any issues or delays promptly, minimizing disruption and ensuring project continuity. Electrical Works Occasional assisting of our Workplace Safety team replacing emergency lights, Switchboard RCD and thermal imaging testing. What You Bring to the Table A firm understanding of AS / CA S009 : Installation requirements for customer cabling. Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or Leading Hand. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve issues. Proficiency with SimPRO or similar job management software. Knowledge of safety and quality compliance requirements. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Liaise effectively with customers or project managers. Ability to work with and lead a team. Ability to read and interpret plans. Why Join Us?
