Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (BEL) Full-time (100%), permanent position with professional team Base salary will be in the range $102,565.37 - $111,686.39 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 7) Based at our St Lucia Campus About This Opportunity You will support the design and implementation of integrating employability capabilities and work-integrated learning (WIL) within the curriculum. You will lead a portfolio of work to engage with and support academic and professional staff in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (BEL) to effectively incorporate intentional, student-focused learning experiences that incorporate the integration of theory with practice within a purposefully designed curriculum. Key responsibilities will include: Collaborate with Learning Designers, Program Leaders and stakeholders to integrate employability and WIL in curriculum design, aligning with program and course learning objectives. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with industry partners and internal UQ teams to enhance learning outcomes and industry integration. Design and deliver professional development workshops and maintain digital resources to support embedding employability across disciplines. Apply specialist knowledge to plan and implement curriculum changes, ensuring alignment with UQ frameworks and policies. Analyse data, prepare reports, and share insights to inform and promote best practices in employability and WIL initiatives. Advanced analytical skills including demonstrated ability in analysis and interpretation of detailed and complex information to identify issues and solve problems. Demonstrated ability to apply theory, contemporary practice and practical experiences to analyse complex teaching and learning situations and apply high-level problem-solving skills to develop appropriate and innovative curriculum solutions. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative linkages with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and demonstrated commitment to responding to client needs. Demonstrated understanding of course design principles, including best practices in designing and embedding employability and WIL-focused learning experiences into higher education curricula. Ability to prioritise own workload in a high-pressure environment, work independently and proactively and meet deadlines with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work iteratively, adapting quickly to change and operating effectively both on an autonomous basis and as a member of a collaborative, client focused team. High level experience developing and delivering educational resources, meeting a range of discipline-specific needs and expectations. Sound knowledge of Australian higher education sector, university degree structures, and employability issues face by students and graduates in domestic and international labour markets.
