Principal Advisor, Digital Support Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development (NRMMRRD) – Brisbane, permanent AO7 Principal Advisor role focused on driving enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. Overview Based at 1 William Street, Brisbane, this role offers flexible full‑time hours and a key opportunity to collaborate with the Office of the Chief Digital Officer, support digital policy development, and guide the department through innovative digital solutions. Responsibilities Provide input, guidance and support for the development, implementation, and review of department-wide digital transformation strategies, policies and frameworks. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT Partners (ITP), to identify opportunities for digital innovation and ensure successful delivery of initiatives. Monitor and report on progress of digital transformation initiatives, identify risks and opportunities for improvement, and support development of digital capability‑building initiatives. Contribute to the department’s digital governance framework, facilitate the adoption of emerging technologies, and advise senior leadership on digital transformation strategies.
